The game itself is great on the graphics scale, and the story really grips you and makes you think a bit at the end. You lose some good people on the way, and some fuckers you can't wait to kill! You also have to think very carefully when doing things like taking an enemy outpost - I was scouting one, didn't see a Buffalo next to me, killed it before it gouged my heart out - turns out a Tiger was hunting the Buffalo, so he tries to eat me next - so whilst trying to kill said kitty, turns out some of the pirates were hunting the Tiger as it had killed one of them, and they promptly pumped bullets in my head!

The AI isn't so bad, and the achievements are quite easy to get, I have about 9 left to get, the bulk being Co-op missions.

But!

However much bullshit is there? An Anti Material Rifle, capable of punching through a tank, that can't kill an enemy from 20 meters away because I shot through a rusty sheet of metal 2mm thick? Or some huge guy wearing a mask?

Vaas lets you run through the jungle, you take a ton of bullets in the ass and back. Should be dead. He stabs you, and even ties you to a damn breeze block and tries drowning you. Nope, still going! Then he shoots you, but you have a lighter that saves your life..... but you don't smoke Mr. Brody! The second thing that annoyed me, you kill Vaas and Hoyt in some trippy-ass button mashing scenes, which may be cool for some but I felt it let it down a bit, especially for Vaas, would have loved to have knifed that bastards throat without tripping on Acid! The last thing - the ending. Save your friends or join Citra?? So I Googled it, and apparently Citra just has sex with you and kills you anyway, and I'm glad I didn't choose that one, the other had drama and a great ending.



Don't get me wrong, it is a great game and the storyline pulls you in so quickly. Just wish they had taken a little more care!

Tesco has posted up an image of the box art for this year’s new Call Of Duty, confirming Infinity Ward as the developer and implying it’s part of the Modern Warfare series.

Two different retailers have both managed to leak information on a new game called Call Of Duty: Ghosts. Tesco put up the box art below, before quickly removing it, while American chain Target accidentally ran the advert above before it was supposed to.

The leaks are surprisingly informative, with the box art revealing that Infinity Ward are the developer. The name and artwork also strongly suggests that the game is part of the Modern Warfare series, and seems to confirm earlier rumours about the game staring the enigmatic Ghost – before his death during the events of Modern Warfare 2.

Meanwhile, the Target advert actually provides a release date, of November 5. That’s exactly the sort of date Call Of Duty is usually released, and although Tesco lists the date as December 30 that’s pretty obviously a placeholder.

Also interesting is that both retailers only list the game for Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3. That’s probably only because the next gen Xbox hasn’t been unveiled yet, although there is also a small chance that the next gen versions will be a different game – or released significantly later than the current gen versions.

Activision has made no official announcement about this year’s Call Of Duty, although they generally do so in April or May. The last time there was a major leak, for Modern Warfare 3, they even moved forward their unveiling plans to compensate, although we’re not sure they’d do so just for this.
