Thread: Proposal: Clan 24/7 Minecraft server

This thread will be posted on ps3 pc and xbox sides for every one to read

here is my proposal.... we buy one of those 5 or 10$ a month servers for the clan.... it would be up 24/7 and we could make it to were it is a survival world and we have a free build world after that....

i think it would be a good idea considering we are getting more money now days and a minecraft server is particularly cheap (i dont know how much the website costs) this way we wont have to worry about having to download hamachi and beeing on at the right times to be able to log into the server because it is run for us by a company.... and it doesnt matter what time it is or what you want to do (we can tell them to put plugins on it for us if we want to) you will be able to play minecraft with people that you know and i think it will be fun, so after you read this please answer in the poll if you thin this is a good idea or not

btw for all that dont know me im sheep a general from the ps3 side

lol sounds good to me. i could actually make it if i decide turn my old desktop into a server. and it could be free. Im used to making and managing Bukkit servers. Only sketchy part would be making it for xbox since mc for xb should be coming out next year from what i hear.

ok ill keep yall posted.... EasyasPie the commander of the pc side said that he is working somthing out to get his friends company to give th clan a free sevrer.... so when its up ill make another thread about it

I don't think that purchasing a dedicated Minecraft server would be a great idea given that we are already required to pay $50/month to meet our server payments. If we were able to easily meet our payments then we could talk, but for now, I say no.

The server is now online! To play you will not need Hamachi or legal version of Minecraft. The server is 24/7 and the IP is fod.servegame.com.
