Any one have any tips and tricks for this gun?

I believe it's more like a battlerifle than a sniper rifle. I suggest using stuff like foregrip, ACOG 4x Scope, and maybe even a silencer. It's a very active weapon, it's not something that you should sit on a rock 100 yards away with.

So I like to get up close with it, set down your spawn beacon and motion sensor, and use the gun just like an assault rifle.

I love the gun and yah it does just play like a battlerifle i love the gun tho cus its one of the few snipers i like even tho it doesn't preform like any of them. That is also why I like the m39, and sks. I love all three of them

Even though it's more of a battle rifle, I found it difficult engaging in CQC with it so I treated it as a sniper rifle which worked better for me.

it was the other way around for me. I did bad sniping with it

It's the best semi-auto damage wise. I get killed with it frequently. As with all the semi-automatic sniper rifles: treat it like a battle rifle. Stay at a decent range from your enemies, aim for the head as this weapon is a 1 shot kill to the head unlike the other semis, but don't get too far back or you'll find yourself needing to place too many shots and won't get much kills.

doesn't it do like 50 damage max?
