Thread: New to BF3!

I am very new to BF3! I dont know any good guns to use? Im only like level 3 i think! I dont know any of the game modes that are good or level you up fast? Ive seen tanks and thats really it so far and i dont know how the hell you get any viechal really? Lol! Please help, I need it!

use battlelog.battlefield.com to track your progress, all levels seem fair as far as leveling up.

Really, just be a team player. If you are assualt, revive any of your team mates and give out health packs. If you are support, give out ammo and support the rest of your team. If you an engineer, repair, repair, repair. Repairing is the best thing that you can do while playing as an engineer.

One good too to keep in mind is to always pick a gun with a high FPS (Feet Per Second or Fire Rate) as this will give you an advantage.

Oh, and don't worry about the vehicles that much as of right now, focus on getting used to the game and seeing what's best for you.

Burrito covered most of it! Also as an engineer try to assist in taking out enemy vehicles with your RPG/SMAW or any weapon like that it usually helps ALOT!

As a new bf3 player. You should play team death match and select assault and the M16A3 is the best gun before you unlock the F2000/FAMAS. And you cant get vehicles, just ride them and kill people using them and you unlock stuff that you can use on vehicles. *Rush or conquest are not suitable for starters* In my opinion. And oh wait.....dont forget the medkit. Its *basic*.

Its all about what suits you. Tinker with the different classes, learn their roles, learn the game modes and maps and don't get phased about your abilities until at least Level 20 or so. BF3 has a huge learning curve (not trying to discourage you). Just be patient with yourself and have fun playing. From there everything else will follow.

oh and my tip is for lvl ups play conquest and take as many flags as u can and for gun mods team deathmatch!

i think it is all personal preference just dont USE THE F**KING USAS (that gun is very OP)

Thanks again guys this is still helping! So far ive been owning using the snipers last night and went 30-10! I took that automatice sniper and kept pressing the trigger in my scope! I think im going to like assault too because i love the ak and have a flash light with grip on it. Its pretty good if you ask me! I drove a tank and tried to go against another one and failed miserably! Lol! Thanks again guys/girls!
