CO: The Commanding Officer's main duty is to ensure the efficient running of all area's involved in the BF3 Division. The CO will oversee both NA and EU Squads, as will as the GB Squad selection. The CO must adhere to FOD Clan Leader and FOD appointed GB Leader rules and regulations. The CO must appoint, and properly regulate a full chain of command to ensure smooth running of all squads and aspects of the BF3 gaming area within FOD. The CO must be rank of Clan Advisor or higher within the clan. At this time the CO will receive all orders directly from the senior leadership of the clan.
Executive Officer: The XO's main duty is to aid in all tasks of the Commanding Officer and in his absence act as the head of the division. The XO will assume direct command of Recon Platoon, and oversee the command and leaders of any other FoD competitive BF3 teams.
Platoon Liaison Officer: The Platoon Liaison Officer will act as 3rd in Command for the BF3 section. The PLO's main job will be to oversee the North American and EU Platoons (non-competitive), as well as any Squads. Platoon & Squad Leaders are directly accountable to the PLO since the PLO will be acting on the authority of the Commanding Officer. The PLO will oversee all Platoon Leaders decisions and will consult with the CO or XO during times of promotion within the Platoon. Applicants to a Platoon must receive approval from both the PLO and Platoon Leader before joining; and all Squad Leaders will receive a sign off by the PLO before being promoted. To hold the job the PLO a member must be an active Initiation Officer or higher and have previously held the post of Platoon Leader or be equally qualified. Any aforementioned duties may also be taken by the CO or XO and will not require input from the PLO.
Platoon Leaders: Will command the North American, European, and Game battles Platoon's respectively. Will be in charge of scheduling and enforcing practice times as well as ensuring members of Squads are remaining active. Platoon Leaders are urged to handle all unit matters internally when able, and consult the PLO when problems arise. Platoon Leaders should also organize members into Squads for game play and organization. They should also handle recruiting current clan members who are active on Battlefield 3 and are from their location to join their Platoon.
Platoon/Squad Sgt: Will serve as a second in command to a Squad or Platoon Leader and will aid in carrying out all orders passed down from Squad or Platoon Leaders. A Platoon Leader must have served as a Squad Leader previously, unless special permission is granted from the BF3 Commanding Officer.
Squad Leaders: Will command four man teams within each Platoon. Each Platoon will be made up of 2-6 Squads and Squad leaders will be chosen from the most skilled players and capable leaders within each Platoon. Squad Leaders must have been in the Platoon for at least one month before being promoted to Squad Leader unless special permission is granted from the BF3 Commanding Officer.
