Battlefield 3: What is Input Lag?

So most people I have talked to via PS3 or the forums have never heard of the expression "input lag" or have any concept of what it means for console gamers. Although Battlefield 3 is a great game and was made with the intent to be a multi platform game, it suffers from what most PC-to-console games have to deal with: Input Lag.
This video will definitively explain what input lag is, how everyone suffers from it, and why most people don't even know about it.
Have you ever been playing Battlefield 3, Bad Company 2, or Medal of Honor and experienced that "delay" when aiming your weapon, sprinting, or throwing a grenade? Not as quick and fast as Mw3 or CoD right? Well my friends, that is because those games only run a maximum of 30 frames per second whereas CoD runs at 60 frames per second. (Estimating).
Battlefield 3 also cannot support full HD quality (1080p) and only allows for a maximum of 720p on console whereas on PC you have the freedom of controlling your graphics output and frames per second.
This article is not to bash Battlefield 3 on console, but to bring light to the nature of "coming short" on developing a game for console. You get what you pay for.
