hey guys i wanna share a vid of a combination of Javelin and SOFLAM that is very effective in BF3 specially on aircraft enjoy

Imo, I think the Jav/SOFLAM combo is effective against any vehicle. I dont think many players realize that a Jav firing at a laser designated target does a top down attack. One hit destroy on tanks.

A lot of players do know this trick, but it's only used much on PC, these tactics only work if your playing with a friend or teammate willing to help you which 70-80% of player's don't use mic on PS3 that's why it's not used to much or not at all.

i have a friend who uses thed soflam for me and we destroy any aircrafts near us it really helps and he gets assist points

If you can get a whole squad of engies with javelins and one soflam'er, aka the "javelin squad" it will rape any and all vehicles

The Javelin and SOFLAM combination is rape. Like you pick a good advantage point have a recon with the soflam, have 1 support guy to drop the ammo box and then suicide (box will stay - well at least when I do it) and then have 3 engineers. Don't fire at the same time, usually have one person fire off so that the jet/heli/tank can set off its flares/counter measure then have the other 2 at it.

My go to class is recon, and I can never find anyone to coordinate attacks and tactics with, however I've had the opportunity to use this tactic before and it just is so OP, especially with more than one Javelin
