Thread: COD Vs. BF - Not what you think.

Sooo, after playing COD since MW1, I've been giving serious thought about trying BF3. I'm just curious to see other peoples veiwpoints on both games. I am NOT trying to start a COD vs. BF pissing contest, thats gay. I do though want to know some of the differences between the two, maybe some pros and cons for both etc...

To me it's not about which is better. I'm sure any reasonable person would say there are things COD does better and things BF does better, I think it's just a matter of preference.

Just a tip buy it new because it comes with an online code and if you buy it used the online code could already be used

Yeah the online code thing sucks. But one of the pros of bf3 is vehicles which I haven't played mw3 to know if they are in that game though so it may have them too? Another pro for me is the fact that bf3 is more objective based I think. Cons are well I don't know for a fact but more people probably play cod but don't take my word for that one

I dont really think you should try and compare the two, each of which have completely different systems that they work on.

I played Call of Duty Modern warfare as well, But I am starting to become more of a Battlefield person. The only bad part of battlefield atleast for me is that on Ps3 I get a ton of Lag :P

I personally find bf3 better, if for no other reason than innovation. Don't get me wrong, the type of mp atmosphere that mw1 set up was great, it was slightly improved in some ways, slightly worsened in others, by mw2. But by the time BO and mw3 came out, it was just the same shit over and over again. Bf3 is not like that, it is a major improvement compared to its predecessors. The only way you can truly find out for yourself is to try it, but I think you will definitely like it better if your train of thought sounds like anything I just said.

SNIPING SNIPING SNIPING, ITs sooo cheap int he MW series just my take, and it's Underpowered in BF3
