Modern Warfare 3 Leveling Up Guide
There are four things to leveling up fast in MW3:
Time. Skill. Having no life. and Not caring about your K/D
Now according to Elite, I prestige in 20 hours of playing time. I think going from 7th to 11th in one week is the reason.
Here are my tips to prestiging to your favorite prestige or 15th or even 20th faster.

PERKS
Getting every perk to Pro will end up getting one tons of Exp. When you first being a prestige, start with Quickdraw, Sleight of Hand, and Stalker. Easy perks to get to pro. Once you get Assassin and Hardline, begin using Support and Assualt or Specialist respectively. Here are some perks that you MUST get Pro.

Hardline Pro
That Perk is essential to getting hella experience. It works amazingly well with the Specialist package
I put Scavenger first because I rush alot and I end up picking up ALOT of ammo. Soon I get the challenges for hoarding ammo, getting Scavenger in my Specialist package, getting a specialst perk for the nth time, getting pointstreaks through hardline, and assists to kills challenges. THAT IS A MOUTHFUL. From just that, I get over 100k of experience.

Blind Eye Pro
I never liked using my secondary so I used a stinger. Pointstreaks give one TONS of experience. UAVs, Reaper, and Recon Drone give 50. Regular helicopters give 200. Pavelow and Osprey are 300. AND MY FAVORITE: Strafe run: 1500!!!! Whenever a strafe run comes onto the field, DONT SHOOT THE MIDDLE ONE. Instead shoot ethier helis next to the middle one. Youll still get THREE helis AND be able to take the last two. This perk also lets me shoot down the mini care package helis with just a half a clip. They may be fast and small, but that 300 xp is amazing for taking down something so unimportant.

GAME MODES
Every game mode gives LOTS of experience. You just need to KILL and NOT DIE... but there are exceptions. Here are my favorite modes for leveling up.

Kill Confirmed
I LOVE THIS MODE. I have the most hours playing it. You get 50xp for killing someone and ANOTHER 50 for picking up their tags. You also get 50xp for denying tags and 250!!xp for getting your own tag. DYING IS FINE IN KILL CONFIRMED. Its not TDM and it wont affect the score. An easy way to get exp in KC is to rush and pick up your allies tag. YOU DONT NEED TO PICK UP TAGS FROM ENEMIES YOU JUST KILLED. An ally can pick it up and YOU BOTH will get 50xp. So share the love.

Drop Zone
Blind Eye Pro and Stinger City<3 I literally would go to my corner and shoot every care package little bird with my L86, ACR, or Stinger. I SHOOT EVERYTHING DOWN. I love seeing my name pop up claiming I destroyed everything. I wish that they gave assist points for sharing stinger missles for bigger pointstreaks. It is possible to get over 5k in one match.

Search And Destory
Yes this is hardest but most rewarding way to get exp. 500 per kill and 1000 for plant/defuse. Its perfect for quick xp. It does require alot of skill so be sure you can live before you even get anywhere in a match. I call this mode my lazy way of leveling up XD

Hardcore Modes
There are those people who use underpowered guns but fast shooting rate weapons. For example, secondaries. THESE BAD BOYS ARE OP IN HARDCORE. I love using the FMGs, MP9, and Skorpions. Playing these modes will help you not only get some quick xp but improve your playing skill.

Weapons
You can use any weapon but these are some weapons I like using:

Stinger
Dude this baby is OP if it could target Juggs like it use too lol Also it can take down anything better than the Javelin and Smaw. Put it in your pointstreak destroyer class.

ACR 6.8
It is great as your main to your pointstreaker destroyer class. It could shoot down the little birds with half a clip and a full for the big helis. Overall its a good gun with the specialist class.

L86
A LMG is perfect with Blind Eye Pro. It shoots down choppers faster than the Stinger sometimes.. Also with tons of ammo, you wont need to reload as often. You can basically take down any pointstreak faster except AC130s

Secondary Weapons
Fmgs, MP9s, Skorpions, and G18. Underpowered Weapons
BUT EASIEST WAY TO GET MASTERY aka 10k xp
Whenever I play hardcore, I would run around with these weapons like a noob I am and around 50-75 kills, I get around 15k PER GUN because of marksman, mastery, and attachments. The added damage make these weapons easier to use.
Now for Handguns, they also take around 50 kills to get Mastery. There are guns that take just two attachments to get to mastery. Playing Infected or FFA Gunplay will help too

EQUIPMENT
Certain equipment can help survive longer, play better, and/or get exp better

Emp Grenade
I have never seen anyone use these. They can take out recon drones, sentries, IMS, claymores, or any equipment or beginning pointstreaks. Instead of just temporary disabling equipment, it gets rid of it entirely. However you only get one due this OPness.

Tactical Insertion
If youre a camper or someone who patrols a certain area, use this. When playing KC and you die, you will be able to respawn near where you died and ambush the enemy AND GET YOUR TAG. Easy 350xp right there.

Portable Radar
Same tactic as the Tac Insert but dont die. You can get tags and kills easier by knowing where the enemy is

Suggested Classes
My rushing class. I die alot but I love picking up my tag in KC:
PP90MI with Extended Mags and Rapid Fire
Stinger
Frag and EMP Grenade
Sleight of Hand, Quickdraw, and Steady Aim
Specialist: Scavenger, Assassin, and Blind Eye

My class just to destory pointstreaks:
L86 with Thermal and Grip OR ACR with Focus and Extended Mags
Any secondary
Frag and EMP Grenade
Blind Eye, Assassin, and Stalker
Specialist: Scavenger, Quickdraw, and Sleight of Hand

Miscellaneous
40 is NOT halfway through a prestige. According to the exp you need to get for every level, SIXTY is halfway. Once you get there, its like going from 1 to 60 AGAIN.

Be an objective player. Getting flags, tags, bombs, defuses, plants, destroying sentries & pointsreaks will all get you loads of exp. Camping and just going for kills will only give you minimum xp.

MATCH BONUS. This bonus rewards you for playing till the end of a match. Basically the higher level you are and the longer a round is, the more match bonus is. Some modes that give alot of match bonus despite the level is Sabotage and HeadQuarters

kewl tips dude, but according to elite i can prestige in one week if im bothered lol

very informational Albert. The only thing i found missing which was going to be obvious, was the info on secondaries. like you said you didn't like using secondaries but i do...and with that i know 75 kills with any machine pistol will yield and easy 10k xp + a few other minor challenges along the way. take the FMG9 for example...once you unlock akimbo at 25 kills those last 50 come so fast it should almost be considered a crime. plus you piss off try hards and make em rage, so you kill 2 birds with 1 stone

i always try to finish the challenges

i just keep playing against people

playing hardcore will help improve skill as you don't have to rely on Uav or HUD.

Learn the spawns of the game and trust me, you will get better .

seriously, just the mode you are comfortable with and play long.... LONG hours

taking a long time and playing long hours defeats the purpose of leveling up fast LOL
