I think the Double XP weekend is to keep people from boycotting like they said they were.

I think its to stop the blackout

Well it basically is, if people didnt say so much about it, Double XP never would of happened, but im kinda glad it did, because of the prestige challenge im doing :|

I was telling people what had happened in school about the double exp weekend on the blackout day so I thought it was crap that IW listened to one thing but oh well not my problem Black Ops and BF3 got my vote already

False, everyone got double exp.

Well if this was an attempt to keep people from boycotting, it may have worked for the day... But how long till be look past the double xp and notice that the game still needs maintenance? If people really want, they can just do it another day but i do thank them for the double xp.
