Nice review! I've been eyeballing the Vita for some time now. I've played around with demo models and love the new features and such. The one thing I'm waiting on before I drop cash on it, is to see how much more integrated it's going to be with the PS3. I can see a "Wii U" type feature where you'll use the Vita for your PS3 controller. It has everything you need to do this; motion sensitivity, touch screen front and back, it replicates the PS3 buttons, two joysticks, etc. When that happens, I'll definitely get one. I'm also waiting to see how may more developers bite on it. In my opinion, the PSP never lived up to the hype, so I'm giving the Vita a little more time to get established.

Not sure how much more integration there will be with the PS3 but you may have heard about the next console from Sony? Its codenamed Orbis atm, not sure if it will be its release name! But "Vita" and "Orbis" together are Latin for Circle of Life, or something roughly the same. So you can imagine the amazing integration Sony will have in store for us. The Vita is a very capable Hand held, we should be expecting some very nice surprises this year. Even though it is very impressive, in terms of what it is REALLY capable of, it is fairly bland atm.
