GameBattles is excited to announce the launch of the Twisted Metal Arena for the PlayStation 3 gaming console. Twisted Metal is the eighth installment in the classic vehicle combat series “Twisted Metal,” and marks the series’ first foray onto the PlayStation 3 console. Gamers will play against other teams in various game modes, includng Team Deathmatch, Last Man Standing, Nuke Mode, and Team Hunted.

It is the first Twisted Metal release since Twisted Metal Black online for the PlayStation 2 launched over ten years ago!

Our users will be able to compete on the Twisted Metal arena throughout the Spring 2012 Season, running from February 22nd through June 30th. When the regular season closes, the top ranked teams will advance to the seasonal playoffs for a chance to take home the championship!
