I agree with pretty much this whole post except for the video card, processor, and hard drive.

Switch the processor from the i5 for the AMD Zambezi quad core or AMD bulldozer 6 core.

Then instead of the GTX 560 in 1 GB, get it in the 2 GB version for extra video dedication.

Swap the Seagate hard drive for a Western Digital, they are more reliable and come with a warranty.

Thank you. Wouldn't almost everything else have to be changed then? Like the MoBo, possibly RAM, and the Heatsink?

Changing the GPU, hard drive, and processor shouldn't affect the RAM or the heat sink, but if you DO switch to an AMD processor, get this MoBo. Gigabyte is a great brand, and I actually have one in my computer. Also, you shouldn't need to buy an external heat sink. The one that comes with the processor should do the trick.

Also, if you use an old case, be sure to make sure that the case can actually fit the components. Some cases are half-sized and won't fit some parts.

If you want a gaming computer, you're going to have to either build it yourself or pay someone else to build it for you. Buying pre-built computers from big names like Amazon or Best Buy is incredibly bad, as they give you almost nothing for what you spend. All of their pre-built computers are incredibly overpriced; paying $500 for separate parts and building it yourself gives you a computer that is easily 4x as good as a $500 computer from a store. Building your own computer is actually pretty easy, there are a bunch of tutorials of how to do in on Youtube.

Hmmmm, I thought processors came with their own heatsink and fan, but I wasn't really sure. That's good to know, thanks for the information.
